Spring is knocking at our doors, and I for one welcome it back with open arms. It feels sooo good to embrace the longer daylight hours which in turn carries with it milder temperatures. Shedding the heavy winter layers is like wiping away a heavy coating of dust. The warmer temperature also brings back our freedom to come and go as we please without having to worry about snow and ice. So, you know what that means . . . yup, it's time to head out to your local flea market to find some fabulous treasures.

Who would ever have thought an old chest of drawers could be converted into a fabulous kitchen hutch; an easy conversion and fabulous design makes this project a one-of-a-kind fantastic flea market makeover. Or how about transforming an old washtub into a wonderful decorative ottoman? Better yet, how about taking a wine crate and converting it to the perfect end table? So many great projects, so little time!

Don't forget, spring also includes the Easter holiday and Mother's Day. There are so many adorable Easter designs in this issue to choose from, you won't be able to stop at just one. And, let's not forget Mom, after all she's definitely deserving of a special hand-painted gift.

April showers, bring May flowers! And, as you know, I love to garden. So, once all the flowers are in place and nature enlists its new blossoms, it's time to spruce up the garden with some really great accessories.

This issue is chalk full--from great garden accessories and fabulous flea market transformations, to darling Easter decorating items and great Mother's Day gifts. So, shake off the winter humdrums and embrace the sunny spring days with (why of course) your paintbrush!

Let's have fun painting!
